Thank you for your interest in hunting with NWO. We offer a high quality archery deer hunt in some of the best deer country in Northern Wisconsin. You will be hunting big woods, free roaming deer in their natural environment(no fences), although we cannot guarantee 100% success, we will do everything in our power to put you close to these magnificent animals.

AREA INFORMATION - Archery deer hunters will be hunting in Zone 3 in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. Bayfield County is the second largest county in Wisconsin. This area contains approximately 966,000 acres. Nearly half of Bayfield County is publicly owned land. Here the natural beauty of the area will surprise you. It is as rugged as what you might expect to find in the western part of the country. This prime deer country can be found in the northern most part of Wisconsin on Lake Superior, near the Apostle Islands. On the shore of Lake Superior lies a small town called Washburn (pop2558). This town is your destination. All necessities, such as: groceries, hardware, tools, automotive shops, hotel/motel accommodations, liquor, beer, fine restaurant, and coffee shops can be found locally.

ACCOMODATIONS/LODGING - If you are the type of hunter who likes to tackle the Northern Wisconsin wilderness by supplying and preparing your own food then look no further.. Sleeping arrangements include a quality outfitter tent, wood burning barrel stove, and a stove for cooking. The camp supplies its hunters with the necessary cooking equipment required, such as pots and pans. The guide and his helpers will be camped on location with the hunters for the duration of their hunt(2 hunter minimum). If you prefer to stay in a hotel/motel, I will assit you with reserving accommodations.

HUNT DETAILS - Wisconsin's archery deer hunting season is from September 15th thru December 31st. You will be responsible for your own transportation to your site once you are familiar with the location. If you are able to bring along an ATV, please do so. Weather is very unpredictable. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Tree stands will already be in place. You will be hunting over Scapes, Trails and Funnels. Archery deer stands are located on Private, paper mill, DNR and county forestland. Space is very limited. References are avaliable.
